4 star holiday in the Val Pusteria
with the main location Brunico
Eastern South Tyrol is home to the green Val Pusteria valley, which stretches as far as East Tyrol in Austria. Small villages line the valley with the lively town of Brunico/Bruneck at the upper end and expansive fields, woodlands and pastures, which roll into isolated side valleys around the rest of the area. In these valleys, and especially in the Valley of Gsies, you enjoy the quiet and peace of a natural released landscape; far away from traffic and noise you will find a place to relax and enjoy yourself.
The Rienz/Rienza river divides the area into the thickly-forested Alpine ridge to the north and the pale Dolomites towards the south.
The hiking area is distinguished by easily-accessible mountain lakes such as "Pragser Wildsee", "Toblacher See" and "Antholzer See"; the beautiful landscape "Plätzwiese" and the famous Three Peaks/Drei Zinnen worth a visit. The local dialect is just as colourful as the landscape – making the local inhabitants particularly endearing and charming.
