Starting with Josef, the boss:
Josef fulfilled his biggest dream in 2005 when he built the hotel together with his wife Karin. They work hard every day to make it even better, and they are very proud of what they have achieved! From early in the morning until late at night, Josef makes sure that everything in the hotel runs smoothly and that nothing is forgotten. He tinkers, manages, helps with the odd jobs, cooks the best South Tyrolean specialities and shows our guests the most beautiful places in the Val Casies as a certified hiking guide. In short … a personality with heart and enthusiasm, many diverse talents and great ideas. His passion is the diverse nature and the mountains. Together with Karin, he has already climbed many 3000-metre peaks, and there are still more to come …
Karin
The heart of our hotel is very committed to every guest and employee and is always helpful. She also has a very warm and open personality. Karin has a knack for organisation and attention to detail. Karin tries to spend every free minute in nature and in the mountains. Together with Josef, she explores nature in summer and winter and is a real sports enthusiast.
Fabian
Born in 1999, he graduated from the hotel management school in Bruneck in 2018. He is currently studying at the Swiss Hotel Management School in Lucerne. Fabian is helpful, open-minded, very determined, always full of new ideas and enjoys making new plans. He is constantly furthering his education and regularly consults with colleagues in the hotel industry. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and tending to his garden.
Michaela
Born in 2000, she is Karin’s right-hand woman at reception. She is very helpful, always open to everything and a ray of sunshine. Michaela is also very professional, hard-working, friendly and enthusiastic with great ideas in all areas. In her free time, Michaela can usually be found in nature and in the mountains, where she can switch off and recharge her batteries with plenty of energy and peace and quiet. She is the whirlwind of the family, always up for fun and also very adventurous.
Johanna
Born in 2002, our youngest, successfully completed hotel management school in 2021. She is characterised by her calmness and composure. Her hearty laugh and cheerful nature are infectious, and her insight into human nature is fascinating. Johanna loves cats more than anything, and in her free time she enjoys mountain biking in the summer and cross-country skiing through the snow-covered forests of the Gsiesertal valley in the winter. She is the calming influence in the family and always has an open ear for everyone.
