South Tyrol holiday in a cross-country hotel – Casies & Val Pusteria

Gliding softly through winter

Some say cross-country skiing is like meditation in motion. Others say it’s one of the most beautiful things winter has to offer. Both are true. Especially in the Val Casies. Here you can glide along more than 50 kilometres of cross-country trails – classic or skating style – through snowy forests, across sunny valley meadows, and past charming farms and mountain huts. The best part? The entrance to the Casies Valley Trail is located directly behind our hotel.

Whether you’re a pro, a hobby skier or part of a just-for-fun group – being there is what counts. And watching is just as enjoyable, promise. Around 2,300 participants take part every year.
